Cake Shop & Café Website Design — Mary Cake, Antwerp Belgium

Overview

Mary Cake is a pink dessert boutique in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium, serving handmade celebration cakes, puddings, açaí bowls, Brazilian specialties like coxinha and palha italiana, and specialty coffee. Stars Web Studio designed and developed a soft, romantic website that captures the shop's signature pink-and-gold aesthetic — with a full dessert menu and separate coffee price list, a sweet-moments photo gallery, 5.0-star customer reviews, one-tap WhatsApp cake ordering, and Bakery JSON-LD schema with aggregate rating markup for Google rich results. This project shows how Stars Web Studio builds order-winning websites for cake shops, dessert cafés, bakeries, and food businesses across Europe, the UK, Ireland, US, and Canada.

The Challenge

Dessert shop customers in Antwerp expect to browse a menu, see reviews, and order ahead before visiting — but Mary Cake had no website to showcase its handmade cakes and Brazilian specialties or capture WhatsApp orders, leaving the boutique reliant on foot traffic and social media alone to reach new customers.

Our Solution

Stars Web Studio built a website as sweet as the shop itself: a blush-pink, gold-accented design with elegant display typography that mirrors the boutique's in-store experience. The full dessert menu shows every item with photos and euro pricing — from €4 coxinhas to celebration cakes from €35 — alongside a complete coffee and drinks price list. A 'Order Your Cake Today' section drives the key conversion with one-tap WhatsApp ordering and click-to-call, while a photo gallery, three 5-star reviews, opening hours, and an embedded Antwerp map complete the customer journey. Bakery JSON-LD schema with a 5.0 aggregate rating targets rich results in local search. Built with React and Tailwind, bilingual-market ready, and fully responsive.
