Overview
Home Furnishers is a kitchen hardware, DIY and homeware shop on White Abbey Road in Bradford, serving retail and trade customers seven days a week. It sells kitchenware, tools, decorating supplies, cleaning products, bedding and small appliances, with stock stacked out onto the pavement every day. The shop had a Google listing but no website. Stars Web Studio built a demo site using the colours and lettering of the shop's own blue fascia sign and its real shopfront photo.
The Challenge
Customers could only find the shop through its Google listing, with no way to see what it stocks before visiting. There was no simple way to ask whether an item was in stock, so every question meant a phone call during opening hours. Trade customers had no page explaining bulk orders or collection.
Our Solution
The hero recreates the shop sign with lettering that lights up on load, next to the full shopfront photo, and shows a live open or closed status in UK time. A running strip lists the main ranges, then a pegboard section shows eight aisle cards that swing into place as they hang from hooks. A trade section covers bulk pricing and collection, and an auto-scrolling reviews reel follows. The enquiry form has dropdowns for the item type and the best way to reply, and the find us section shows the address, a directions link and a full week of opening hours.
