Overview
Truck & Trailer SA is a Durban, KwaZulu-Natal business handcrafting premium miniature truck and trailer models, offering custom paint and branding, trailer fabrication, container accessories, 3D printed parts, restoration, and corporate gifting. Stars Web Studio designed and developed a bold, automotive-inspired website with a black-and-gold aesthetic, GSAP scroll animations, and a Three.js interactive hero that matches the craftsmanship of the products themselves. The site walks visitors through a clear Enquire → Design → Build → Deliver process, showcases the model gallery, highlights the brand's community feeding scheme, and routes every enquiry straight to WhatsApp with a pre-filled custom-build message. This project shows how Stars Web Studio builds standout websites for custom manufacturers, craft businesses, and niche product brands across South Africa, the UK, Ireland, US, and Canada.
The Challenge
Niche craft businesses like custom model truck making struggle to convey the quality of hand-built work through social posts alone. Truck & Trailer SA had no dedicated space to showcase its model gallery, explain its Enquire → Design → Build → Deliver process, or route serious enquiries to WhatsApp — making it hard for collectors and corporate clients in Durban to discover or trust the brand online.
Our Solution
Stars Web Studio built a premium dark-theme website that treats the miniature trucks like the engineered products they are — bold Oswald typography, a gold-on-black automotive palette, cinematic GSAP scroll animations, and an interactive Three.js hero. The site presents all six service lines, a product model gallery, client testimonials, and a four-step custom order process (Enquire, Design, Build, Deliver) that sets expectations before the first message. A WhatsApp-first enquiry flow opens a pre-written custom-build message in one tap — the channel South African buyers already use. A dedicated section for the brand's community feeding scheme adds authentic trust and story. Fully responsive, fast-loading, and structured with semantic HTML and Durban/KZN local keywords for search visibility.
