Overview
Auto Diagnostic Centre Ltd (trading as ADC Auto Repair) is an independent garage at Ionic Works, Unit 1, Grove Street, Smethwick B66 2QS. They hold a 4.8 rating from 180 Google reviews and describe themselves on their own signage as a hybrid specialist that only uses quality parts. Their work spans routine MOT and servicing through to the jobs many garages send away — Ford EcoBoost wet belt kits, Transit Custom 2.0 EcoBlue timing belt kits, and seized injector removal. Stars Web Studio built this concept site to show what that business looks like online, using only the garage's own published prices, hours, marques and photography.
The Challenge
The garage had no website of its own. Everything a customer needed — prices, opening hours, the fact that they handle hybrid drivetrains in-house — sat scattered across a Google listing, a third-party booking app and printed shop signage. A driver searching for an MOT in Smethwick could find the phone number but nothing that explained why this garage rather than the next one, and the specialist belt and injector work that carries the highest ticket value was invisible.
Our Solution
A single-page site built as a forecourt price board. The visual identity is taken directly from the garage's own sunburst logo — amber, signal red and a warm near-black — rather than a generic automotive template. The centrepiece is an animated toothed cambelt running between a camshaft and crank sprocket at a true 1.95:1 ratio, used to introduce the belt and injector work and explain in plain language why a wet belt is replaced on interval rather than on failure. Real prices are published on a bolted metal board instead of hidden behind a quote form, opening hours and address sit in their own panel, and every phone number is a tap-to-call link. The page is fully self-contained: all photography is compressed and embedded, and it adapts to light and dark display settings.
