Overview
JR Landscaping Service Inc. is a full-service landscaping company serving Chicago homeowners since 1989, offering lawn care and maintenance, sod installation, hardscaping, spring and fall cleanups, plantings, landscape materials, and custom 3D landscape design. Stars Web Studio designed and developed an elegant, editorial-style website with serif typography and rich landscape photography that positions the company as Chicago's premium choice. The site showcases all seven service lines with photos, a six-project portfolio gallery, a carousel of six client testimonials from neighborhoods across Chicagoland, and a free estimate request form backed by prominent click-to-call. This project shows how Stars Web Studio builds lead-generating websites for landscapers, lawn care companies, contractors, and home service businesses across the US, UK, Ireland, and Canada.
The Challenge
After 35 years in business, JR Landscaping's reputation was built entirely on word-of-mouth, with no website to prove that track record to Chicago homeowners researching online. The company was invisible in 'landscaping near me' searches and had no way to showcase its completed projects or client testimonials to win new estimates.
Our Solution
Stars Web Studio built a website that turns 35 years of quiet reputation into visible proof. The design leads with 'Est. 1989' credibility, a full-screen landscape hero, and a trust bar of company milestones. Seven service cards with photography cover every offering — including the differentiating custom 3D landscape design service, presented in its own featured panel. A portfolio gallery shows real project types (retaining walls, walkways, pergolas, water features), while a testimonial carousel features clients from Lincoln Park to Naperville — including a three-generation family client, the strongest trust signal a home services company can show. A free estimate form promises 24-hour response, paired with click-to-call throughout. Built with React and Tailwind, with refined serif typography, smooth scroll animations, and full mobile responsiveness.
