Overview
Autoblend is a mobile cosmetic body repair business run by Chris Westlake, established in 2003 and covering Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. It repairs scratches, scuffs, dents, rust and alloy wheels, handles end of lease returns, motorbikes and commercial vehicles, and does the work at the customer's home or workplace. It holds a 5.0 Google rating from 9 reviews. Stars Web Studio built a demo site in the silver, slate and ink of the Autoblend van's sign-writing, with the logo's outlined-to-solid lettering as the signature idea running through the page.
The Challenge
Autoblend's work was only visible on the side of the van, its Google profile and Instagram. As a mobile business with no workshop to visit, customers have to send photos and get a price before Chris comes out, and there was no single place that explained how that works, showed before and after results, or collected the job details in one message.
Our Solution
A fast single-file website with a 3D silver body panel in the hero and a headline that fills from outline to solid on load, echoing the logo. A 3D Autoblend van drives along the how-it-works track as the visitor scrolls, turning it solid behind it. The page adds a repairs list taken from the van, real before and after jobs, an auto-scrolling carousel of eight real Google reviews with a polished 3D star, a quote form with dropdowns that opens a prefilled text message, and live opening hours in UK time.
